And these categories include firstly, static mobile phone repeaters for indoor use, and secondly, low gain mobile phone repeaters for in-vehicle use. Ofcom has recently crated the regulations that allow the usage of the above-mentioned devices on condition that they meet the required technical standards and conditions of the usage listed in the regulations.
Another aspect is the usage of smart repeaters. This type of mobile repeaters is regulated by the mobile network without a physical connection via the transmission spectrum. Certain mobile carriers suggest their consumers services using these smart repeaters for improving in-building phone coverage and mobile data rates.
