Works flawlessly even in the woods

Good

We bought this booster for our cottage located in the countryside, where the level of signal is very low. First we have tried it at home, where the signal was okay, just a bit weak. With the booster it was always perfect, even when the weather left much to be desired. Last week we installed it in the cottage. Works great! My husband mounted the outdoor antenna on the roof, he placed it as high as possible in order to catch at least weak signal. The indoor antenna and the booster itself were placed in the center of the cottage to disseminate the improved signal equally around the cottage. When the weather is fine we have full bars everywhere, when it rains and the weather is windy the reception may fall to three, sometimes two bars, but never less than that.

Solid performer

Extremely easy to install and did the trick. I went from zero bars inside to three bars inside, external signal outside my house was one bar. The key thing for success is to follow the instructions and make sure the antennas are as far apart as possible.

Just what I needed

I have a lake house in a rural hilly area. Most of the time calls are easily dropped and you can forget any reliable internet speed from LTE. I took a chance on this product and it works as advertised. The outside antenna is mounted high in a tree and aimed toward the closest cell tower. It took some fine tuning to get the best signal. I now consistently have 10-15 mb LTE in the house. Now I don't drop calls in the house, even in the far corners of the basement. Overall, I am pleased with the Nikrans LCD1200-4G PRO, although it seems a bit expensive. The only disadvantage that I found is that both antennae feel a bit cheap.

Good for crowded areas

I am a manager of a bowling club and I could always hear a complaint of clients about poor reception and a weak 4g signal when it wasn't possible to browse the Internet. Perfect for cabins

I want to mention that with the NS-500GD model I could solve the problem of a poor signal in my cabin where there was a great issue to unwind and work at the same time on the weekends. Having received the full kit with two antennas for indoor and outdoor placements, a booster box, cables and a manual, I immediately installed the devices. Moreover, I didn't have to set special options- an automatic control function managed it instead of me. Good for a village

Believe it or not, but after I had bought this booster, all my neighbours did the same. We live in the village with poor mobile coverage and with this amplifier the quality of voice connection is much better, although not perfect.

Doesn’t improve voice connection

Be attentive! This model doesn’t work with GSM. It improves only 3G. I believe, it’s better to choose the model, which amplifies both GSM and mobile internet.

Renewed version

This is my second booster. The first one was an older model with fewer functions, which by the way was bought at this company as well. Simple dualband amplifier

Put an end to my nightmare

Using my mobile phone at office was a real nightmare. If the voice connection was more or less bearable, the internet was just awful. Delivery issues

Good marine booster

I installed it on my yacht. In general, I’m satisfied with the result. The technical characteristics are not bad. The booster has a huge indoor coverage – 13 000 ft2. It supports two frequencies - GSM 900 MHz and DCS 1800 MHz, so it amplifies GSM and 4G at a time. I think that it even can improve 3G at 900 MHz and LTE at 1800 MHz, although I don’t use it for this purpose.

The booster isn’t bad in general. Advantages are the following - easy installation, reliable work, excellent improvement of GSM and 3G communication quality. As for the disadvantages - the repeater has a poor design, the length of the cable in the standard kit is too short, the quality of the power supply mountings and the antenna mountings are not ideal.

We topk it for the basement restaurant in the city center. All the promised frequencies are improved, although not equally well, some of them are improved better, the others are refined less noticeably. In any case, voice connection has become much better, in certain areas the internet is perfect, in others there are still some issues. I believe it was our best purchase for the past few years.

Functional

The booster deals with poor mobile coverage rather well. If 4G is very weak in your area, the booster will undoubtedly improve it. If you have no 4G, it will be more difficult to do for the device. I live in a village, where there is practically no 4G/LTE connection. Nevertheless, the repeater enhances 4G and I can use mobile internet. As for the GSM signal, it’s very good now, although there used to be some signal issues previously.

It's suitable for crowded places

Amplified my signal

I actually added lightning protection to my order, because I live near the forest and the climate here is rainy, but, thankfully, never had the chance to test it out yet. Let it be there just in case. But other than that – the booster is fine, and it amplifies my signal rather well despite the location and the trees around. Useful device

If you want to buy this model, pay attention to the frequencies first, and make sure that you know the exact frequencies that your operator works on. This device is really great and it amplifies the signal very significantly, I now have signal where I previously couldn’t catch it at all. Works well

Well I did a bunch of research and read a bunch of reviews. That really helped. I live in rural Sheffield. I didn’t want to switch carriers. So I am on Vodafone, and I simply installed the outdoor antenna in the attic of the house, close to the bottom side of the roof. I have a 2 storey house, so in general the antenna is high off the ground.Then I installed the indoor antenna on the 1st floor close to the ceiling. Now I have pretty decent signal in the house.Overall, I had basically 1-2 bars outside. Inside was like 0-1 bar. After installing this unit I now have 4-5 bars in the house. So it does work, and it seems to be working well. You just need to find the best location for signal to boost and repeat.Distance is the key to the unit working properly. Distance from the antennae is crucial.

3. Advanced features

This model is one of the most powerful booster models. It has a number of advanced features. It can automatically adjust the gain level and at the same time it has the function of manual gain control for those, who would like to change the gain by themselves, although personally I don’t use this function at all. During the period when I’ve been using the booster I have never experienced signal interference or any other problems.

A very low-maintenance item

This booster doesn’t need any maintenance or tuning, because it works automatically, and it’s great. We just put it together, placed it (and a couple of extra antennas that we bought separately) in the most logical place – and it’s just there, doing its job. We don’t need any extra technicians, and our own technician doesn’t even have to do more work. Aside from that, the booster amplifies the signal quite well, and we haven’t faced any major signal blackouts since we installed it.

Significant improvement

The internet speed before I switched on this booster was almost two times slower than after I switched it on. I have no problems with cell phone signal as well. This device is very compact and does not have many inconvenient wires, but does its job nicely. Trying to get a signal while on the boat is always complicated, but the booster made it much easier and I don’t think I struggled with the signal ever since I got it.
